In one of the most exciting games of the season, both teams had a lot on the line in their final regular season game as far as seeding goes for their respective district tournaments. The Bayhawks started Ben Leonard on the mound, and the junior proceeded to strike out seven batters and allow just two hits in his six innings of work. In the top of the seventh inning, he was moved out to centerfield, and the Trojans had loaded the bases with just one out and leadoff switch-hitter Trey Alexander came up to the plate batting right handed against the left-handed throwing Beckett Fisher, who had just entered the game on the mound. Alexander hit a line drive to centerfield, and Leonard, who had thrown 53 strikes earlier in the game while on the mound, saved his best strike for the most opportune moment as he caught the line drive and threw a dart to home plate to nail the go-ahead run who was tagging up from third base. It kept the game scoreless going into the bottom of the seventh inning, when Jasper Love doubled with one out. Benjamin Suda came in to pinch run for Love, and quickly advanced to third base on a wild pitch and then scored on a base hit off the bat of Fisher to win the game.

As winners of three of their last four games, the Storm did everything they could to upend the Tigers at home, and after 10 scoreless innings, Burlington-Edison was able to put a three-spot on the board in the top of the 11th, and Squalicum was unable to return the favor. Senior lefty Cameron Schmitt pitched a whale of a game as he went nine innings, struck out 13 batters, allowed just three hits, one walk, and zero runs, but was pulled after he hit the pitch-count limit. He also led offensively with a pair of hits. Squalicum base hits also came from infielders Hudson Johnson and Rylan Prince.
