It was a bit messy for both teams early on as numerous runs were being scored by both teams without a hit being recorded, but eventually, the bats came alive for the Trojans who had three extra base hits in the win over the Wolves. Junior Nate Payne was the main contributor has he finished with three hits, including a triple, four runs batted in and four runs scored. Freshman Lincoln Brzozowski also tripled and scored three runs for Meridian. Trevyn Crabtree doubled and drove in five runs, and Landon Rowley struck out four batters in four innings of relief to pick up the win. The Trojans also walked seven times, and were hit by a pitch six times.

The Lyncs scored seven runs over the first two innings, and were able to fend off the Storm the rest of the way to grab the home win. Sophomore Tanner Blair allowed one run over three innings to get his first win of the year, while Boyce Robertson and Kaden Veldman, who are both known for their prowess in both football and basketball, showed their pitching skills as well as they each pitched two scoreless innings in their varsity baseball debuts. Eli Maberry tripled, while Eli Stamps and Vance Elton each drove in a pair of runs. Squalicum first baseman Cameron Schmitt singled and doubled to lead his team offensively.

The Mariners entered the top of the fifth inning down 2-0, but they dug deep down and were able to come back and tie it in the top of the seventh when sophomore Jad Geiger walloped his fourth double of the season which drove in Riley Carlson. In the extra inning Keegan Glennon’s sacrifice fly scored Sonny Myers, and Tyson Goodman scored on a single into left field by Gunnar Tweit. Garrett Gibbons pitched a scoreless seventh and eighth inning to pick up his first varsity win. Senior centerfielder Hudson Neff led the Mariners with three hits and three stolen bases.

The Sentinels may have scored two runs in the top of the first inning, but the Lions roared back to score 10 runs in the bottom of the inning before taking the win on Saturday morning. Lynden pounded out 12 hits, with Gordy Bedlington, Joe Bense, Dane Marti, Conner LeBel and Noah Navarrete leading the way with two each. Eli Dimter drove in three runs, and senior Jax Baar picked up the win on the mound as he struck out four batters in 4 1/3 innings pitched.

The Bayhawks took an early lead when Kai Nelson scored on a groundout in the first inning, and they nabbed another run in the bottom of the fifth when Eric Helfield scored on an error, but the Monarchs scored all six of their runs in the final two innings to steal the road win. Junior pitcher Ben Leonard pitched well enough to get the win, but had to settle for the no decision after allowing just two hits over 5 1/3 innings.
