The Storm celebrate one of their three early goals against Sehome.

  • Squalicum 3, Sehome 2

The Storm were on point early as they rattled off all three of their goals over the first eight minutes of play, and then hung on to defeat the Mariners.

Addisyn Wilson, Rylan Rockafellow and Siri Hoglin scored for Squalicum, with assists coming from Rockafellow and Hoglin.

Sehome’s Vivian Moss scored a goal and assisted Kylie Ivcevic on the other goal.

 

  • Lynden 2, Burlington-Edison 0

After a scoreless first half, Kyleigh McVie was able to step in front of a goal kick, and move the ball over to Lena VanderMey for the first goal of the game. Sarah Eyre also scored on a breakaway goal as the Lions picked up the road win.

 

  • Bellingham 5, Lakewood 0

Bayhawk junior Nadia Villanueva-Major scored twice to lead Bellingham to the home win over the Cougars, and their fourth straight to begin the season. The Bayhawks also received goals from Alli Bailey, Stella Eltrich and Greta Ross, as well as assists from Sophia Dionne, Addison Bonner, Sophie Koch, Sara Harward and Frankie Ross.

 

  • Meridian 8, Friday Harbor 0

Mila Kravtsov had two goals and two assists, while Luz Lane finished with two goals and an assist as they led the Trojans to the home win over the Wolverines.

Meridian also received goals from Sofia Guzman, Avery Warnock, Tavia Alexander and Ella Kravtsov. Finley Twining added an assist.
