It was all Borderites as they traveled south to take on the Tigers, and as the pitch was loaded with orange and black, there was just one team that looked dominant.
Senior Kate Koreski kicked off the scoring when she stole a pass and scored, and Blaine led 1-0 at the half.
Koreski then perfectly angled a free kick in the beginning of the second half to give the Borderites a 2-0 lead. Blaine had another breakaway chance, but the ball ricocheted off the Granite Falls goalie and it was punched in by Tallyn Bleak.
Ruby Belarmino then scored the final two goals of the game for Blaine.

Lynden 3, Lakewood 0
The Lions were able to secure the clean sheet win at home against the Cougars as they received goals from Saneha Grewal, Kyleigh McVie and Lena Vander Mey. Assists came from Izzy Uyttewaal and Blair Dowdy.

Lynden Christian 4, Mount Vernon 2
The Lyncs got back to their winning ways, and Kaelyn Hinton had a lot to do with it as she finished with a hat trick, and then assisted on the fourth goal, which was scored by Addi Molendyk. Lexi Yun assisted on two of Hinton’s goals, and Caitlin Kok assisted on the other.

Bellingham 7, Sultan 0
The Bayhawks stayed undefeated on the season after shutting out the Turks on the road.
Numerous players for Bellingham were able to make an impact as junior Nadia Villanueva-Major led with a goal as well as the opening assist that went towards the goal scored by sophomore Sara Harward.
The Bayhawks also received goals from senior Sophia Dionne, juniors Uma Bachmeier, Addison Bonner and Eliza Shaffer, and freshman Julia Kassen. Other assists were credited to senior Sophia Koch and junior Lola Greeno.

Ferndale 6, Meridian 1
The Trojans hot on the board first when Meridian’s Sofia Guzman used a no-look pass to assist Ella Kravtsov on a floating shot that just got to the back corner of the net, but it was all Golden Eagles after that.
Kendall Coleman’s header off a long pass from Teghan Ambrose tied the game at 1-1, and Coleman followed it up with another score to give Ferndale the lead.
The Golden Eagles also got goals from Ambrose, Lily Spencer, Hannah Huynh and Sarah Stoner. Coleman also finished with a pair of assists, as did sophomore Nyla Kanda. Ferndale also received an assist from Bryn Bisson.

Squalicum 2, Anacortes 0
The Storm picked up the shutout win on the road against the Seahawks as Siri Hoglin scored both of Squalicum’s goals, one of which was assisted by Ryla Sabado.

Sehome 6, Burlington-Edison 2
The Mariners got two goals and an assist from Kaila Reeves as they stayed unbeaten on the young season.
Vivian Moss and Amaia Reid each had a goal and an assist, while Surin Connell and Kylie Ivcevic also scored goals. Other assists came from Ayla Woodworth and Gwen Brown.
