Sehome 5, Ferndale 2

The Mariners defended their home turf extremely well against the talented Golden Eagles as senior Mason Ivcevic led the attack with a pair of goals. Sehome also received goals from seniors Marcus McConaughy and Asa Tiger, as well as sophomore Luke Yawitz. Ferndale goals came from Ahanu Fasani and Andrey Savenko.

 

Lynden 4, Anacortes 0

The Lions got back in the win column by shutting out the Seahawks on the road behind a hat trick from Eddie Briseno. Lynden also got a goal and an assist from Markus Koenen. Other assists came from Luke VanBerkum, Malachi Koenen and Branden Gonzalez.

 

Squalicum 5, Oak Harbor 0

The Storm remained unbeaten on the season as they elevated their record to 11-0 behind a pair of goals from Maddox Strickland. Squalicum’s Isaac Grimes, Rylan Jenkins and Crew Johnson also found the back of the net against the Wildcats.

 

Lynden Christian 2, Lakewood 1

The Lyncs put an end to their three-game skid by defeating the Cougars at home. Grant Adams scored a goal on an assist from Haiden Kooiman, and Isaac Scott also scored on a penalty kick. Lynden Christian goalkeeper Gavin VanLoo came up with eight saves.

 

Burlington-Edison 5, Nooksack Valley 1

The Tigers scored the first two goals of the game, but a header from Chris Moncada-Castillo cut the lead in half just before Burlington-Edison was able to score again before the midway break. The Tigers then scored twice more in the second half to put the game away.

 

Mount Vernon 7, Blaine 1

The Borderites got a goal from senior Dimi Yuryev who used extremely quick moves to get past a pair of defenders before sending the ball into the net on the road against Mount Vernon. The 3A Bulldogs proved to be too much in the long run as they secured another win.
