The Lyncs followed up a 4-run first inning with a 10-run second inning before cruising to the home win to stat undefeated. Junior first baseman Eli Stamps bombed two homeruns and drove in six runs to spark the Lynden Christian offense, while Tanner Blair took care of business on the mound as he allowed just two hits in the complete game shutout. LC also got a pair of hits from Brayden Engels and Logan Davis. The Storm got hits from Cameron Schmitt and Phoenix Price.

The Pioneers took advantage of eight Mountaineer errors and scored at least three runs in each of the first four innings to capture the home win. Jamison Randolph led Nooksack Valley with three hits and four runs, and Landen Stauffer drove in three runs. Senior pitcher Crew Bauman struck out seven batters in the complete game shutout win. Mount Baker sophomore Tyson Barksdale led his team with two hits, and he also struck out four batters while on the mound.

The Trojans led 2-1 after six innings of play, and multiple errors allowed Meridian to add four more runs in the final inning before picking up the win. Landon Rowley struck out six batters and allowed five hits to earn the completed game victory on the mound. Junior catcher Gabe Galbraith led Meridian with two hits, and junior shortstop Pierce Brzozowski scored two runs. Borderite junior Josh Cochran allowed six hits and struck out six but took the loss. Blaine senior Kai Kerwin collected two of his team’s five hits.

The Lions put up runs in each of the first four innings as they stayed unbeaten in conference play. Lynden found the gaps as half of its hits went for extra bases, and senior Jax Baar allowed just two hits over four innings to get his second win of the season. Senior center fielder Dane Marti drove in two runs and scored twice, while junior Gordy Bedlington singled and doubled, and also struck out six batters over the final three innings to pick up the save.

Senior shortstop Braylon O’Breen doubled in a run in the sixth inning and later scored on an error to make it a one-run game, but that would be the final run of the game for the Golden Eagles who dropped the nail-biter against the Wildcats. O’Breen and sophomore Tracen Pazaski each had two hits to lead Ferndale. Senior pitcher Fenton Vasak went the distance on the mound and struck out 11 batters.

Anacortes 10, Sehome 4
A scoreless tie in the bottom of the third inning turned into a six-run lead for the undefeated Seahawks who went on to take the win at home. Gunnar Tweit and Max Braunstein each pitched three innings and each struck out three batters against the talented Anacortes bats. Hudson Neff and Jad Geiger each doubled for the Mariners.

Mount Vernon 7, Bellingham 3
Holding on to late leads has been a struggle for the Bayhawks, and it was no different last night at home as Bellingham was up on the Bulldogs 3-1 going into the final inning. Before the first out in the inning was recorded, Mount Vernon was able to reach base six straight times and ultimately take the lead. The Bulldogs then struck out the side in the bottom of the inning to hand the Bayhawks their sixth straight loss. Senior catcher Joe Harward led Bellingham with three hits and two runs scored. The Bayhawks also had runs batted in from Alden Scott and C.R. Griffith.
