The Bayhawks scored the initial run of the game in the top of the second inning when senior shortstop Kai Nelson was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded, which allowed junior centerfielder Ben Leonard to score. The Wildcats then went on a wild run in the bottom of the inning with a walk, a single, a sacrifice bunt, a sacrifice fly, another single, an error, another walk, a hit by a pitch, another error, another hit by a pitch and another single. Just like that, Archbishop Murphy had put up seven runs in the bottom of the second. Bellingham’s final run of the game came in the top of the sixth inning when University of Washington commit Alden Scott, who has been in and out of the lineup all season due to a hamstring injury, singled in senior Joe Harward. The Bayhawk’s season came to a close with a record of 7-16.
