Burlington-Edison 9, Bellingham 3
The Tigers scored in bunches as they put up multiple runs in four different innings to stay alive in the 2A district tournament. Bayhawk senior first baseman Jesse Harward led his team’s offense with a double, a single and a run batted in. Senior Owen Rasmussen also knocked in a run, and Bellingham got run from seniors Aidan Carpenter and Jake Troost, as well as sophomore pinch runner Owen Hanstead. The loss ended Bellingham’s season with a 10-13 record. It was the first time in 11 years that Bellingham baseball finished the season with double-digit wins.
