Bellingham 12, Marysville-Pilchuck 9

After jumping out to a 4-1 lead after the first inning, the Bayhawks fell behind 5-4 in the top of the fifth, but roared back for eight runs in the bottom of the fourth before walking away with the victory in Tom Lewis’ debut as coach. Junior Owen Rasmussen knocked in three runs to lead his team, and freshman Alden Scott picked up his first varsity victory on the mound while also collecting two hits and scoring two runs.

Meridian 10, Friday Harbor 0

It was pure domination on the mound for sophomore Jonah Aase, who struck out 14 batters and allowed just two hits and one walk over the five-inning complete game shut-out victory. Junior catcher Ian Forbes led offensively with two hits and four runs batted in, and sophomore right fielder Blake Johnson had a pair of knocks and scored twice.

Junior left-handed pitcher Camden Raymond went the distance on the mound, and helped his own cause in the top of the seventh inning when his single scored senior Jordan Mason to break up a 2-2 tie. Raymond allowed just four hits and struck out four batters. Jordan Mason hit a triple to lead off the game and scored three of the Golden Eagles’ four runs, while Jake Mason led Ferndale with three base hits.

Sultan 2, Mount Baker 1

Mountaineer junior second baseman Landen Hanstead singled to lead off the game. He then stole second, advanced to third on a wild pitch and eventually scored on an error in the field. That would be the lone Mount Baker run as the Turks won in walk-off fashion in the bottom of the seventh inning. Senior Brady West pitched the first four innings and allowed just one hit and struck out eight.
