Vote Here for the 2026 Pepsi Performance of the Week – May 18 – May 23

Here are the nominees in chronological order, and you can vote below for the winner, which will receive a case of Gatorade from Walton Beverage. Voting will end on Thursday the 28th at 12:00 noon.

  • Reuben TeVelde – Meridian boys track and field – On Wednesday, the junior ran the 800 meters in 1:52.26, which broke the Whatcom County record that stood for 13 years by Reed Henderson of Sehome.
  • Campbell DeJongLynden fastpitch – On Friday and Saturday, the senior capped her amazing four-year career with a tremendous state tournament. She homered against the eventual state champions, Mark Morris, and she also put an exclamation point on her career with a homerun in her final at bat, which broke the school record for career homeruns.
  • Leo Kuhn – Bellingham boys tennis – On Saturday, the junior lefty carved through the 2A state tournament and brought home the state championship in the singles division.
  • Halley Brooks, Avery Brooks and Rilanna Newcomb – Lynden girls tennis – On Saturday, the Lions trio pulled off the rare trifecta as Halley won the state championship in singles competition, while Avery and Rilanna teamed up to win the state championship in doubles competition, and the Lions won the state championship as a team.
  • Sonoma Smith – Bellingham girls track and field – On Saturday, the speedy sophomore broke the Whatcom County record in the 200 meter dash with a time of 24.53. The record stood for 15 years by Cherish Morrison of Blaine who went on to win an incredible 14 state championships.
