The Lyncs got off to a 1-0 start with a strike off the foot of Kaelyn Hinton, but the Borderites were able to tie it up at home when a corner kick by Kate Koreski was headed in by Ruby Belarmino.

It remained 1-1 until there was five minutes left in the game when Lexi Yun found Josie VanCorbach for a goal, which gave Lynden Christian the lead. The lead was then added to moments later when Addi Molendyk scored on an assist from Brinkley Bajema.

 

• Meridian 7, Mount Baker 0

It was all Trojans at home as Ella Kravtsov scored the first three goals of the game, and Meridian never looked back. Avery Warnock added two goals, while Mila Kravtsov had a goal and an assist, and Kailey Williams also scored a goal. Other assists came from Finley Twining, Kaitlyn Storgaard, and Sofia Guzman who had a pair of assists.

 

• Sehome 8, Sultan 0

The Mariners picked up the shutout win at home over the Turks as Kylie Ivcevic got things going with a pair of goals, one of which came off of her own corner kick. Vivian Moss then scored the next two games to help put the game out of reach.

Sehome also got a pair of goals and an assist from freshman Evelynn Getz. Kaila Reeves finished with a goal and an assist, and Siena Holcomb also scored a goal. Margo Smith dished out two assists, and Joan Downing also had an assist.

 

• Nooksack Valley 1, Mount Vernon 1

The Bulldogs got the first goal of the game, but it was tied when the Pioneers had a free kick that ricocheted off the goalkeeper, and the ball was punched in from close range by Emma Strand. The game remained tied the rest of the way.

 

• Bellingham 1, Squalicum 1

The Bayhawks have now tied both of the other city schools, and have yet to suffer a loss, as they received a goal from Sophie Koch, which was assisted by Alli Bailey. The Storm got a goal from Audri Kiesau.

 

• Anacortes 3, Lynden 2

The Lions dropped a heartbreaker at home as they Seahawks were able to pick up the win. Kyleigh McVie scored a goal, and also assisted on a goal that was scored by Lena VanderMey. Sarah Eyre assisted on McVie’s goal.
