The Lions scored in a each inning and junior pitcher Callie Ramerman struck out 13 and allowed just one hit as Lynden picked up the home win. Ramerman, Piper Arneson and Almira Hodgins each drove in a pair of runs, while Sarah McVie and Campbell DeJong each had a pair of hits. DeJong also stole four bases, and surpassed 100 steals in her career. Cadence Cloninger got a hit for the Mountaineers, and she also struck out three batters in three innings of work.

The Trojans got off to a hot start when Gretchen Zandstra doubled in two runs, and then scored on a double by Maddie Krumdiack, but the Borderites countered with 11 runs in the bottom of the first inning before gliding to the home win. Sophomore shortstop Courtney Roff led Blaine with five hits and three runs scored, and Nevaeh Zaddack hit her first varsity homerun. Mesa Puls got the complete-game win, and Aaliyah Broyan drove in four runs. Five of the seven hits by Meridian went for doubles.

Brooke VanLoo went 3-for-3 with a double, a homerun and six runs driven in to help power the Lyncs past the Seahawks on the road. Lynden Christian also got a homerun and four runs batted in from Taya Vander Kooi. Hannah Terpstra and Roxanne Lenning each had a pair of hits, and Lenning also struck out 10 batters in five innings. The Lyncs also showed patience as Kortnee Tolsma and Taylor Craig each walked three times.

The Golden Eagles scored five runs in the bottom of the fifth, and another run in the sixth, but weren’t able to come all the way back against the Tigers at home. Sianna Bob hit her first homerun of the season, while Maddy Slevin went 3-for-3 and Hailey Pavitt was 2-for-2 with a double.

Mount Vernon 27, Sehome 11

The Bulldogs took advantage of 17 walks, and they scored at least four runs in every inning before grabbing the conference win at home. Jacinta Lewis doubled twice and drove in four runs to lead the Mariner offense. Madeleine Hutchinson also hit two doubles, and Jordan Walker had a pair of singles.

The Bayhawks were held hitless at home as the Wildcats were able to rip off multiple runs in each inning. Emma Johnson and Olivia Favro each reached base with a walk.
