The Borderites tied the game up at 2-2 in the bottom of the sixth inning when a single off the bat of Aaliyah Broyan scored Aaliyah Bowman. With the score tied at 2-2 going into the top of the seventh, the Lyncs started out the inning with three doubles and a single. Just like that, Lynden Christian was ahead by three runs, and added on three more before the inning was finished, and it was too much for Blaine to overcome in the bottom of the seventh. Brooke VanLoo and Kortnee Tolsma each drove in two runs as well.
