The Lyncs blanked the Pioneers at home behind a hat trick from sophomore Jackson Yun. Noah Ahlers also scored a pair of goals, and Lynden Christian also received goals from Haiden Kooiman and Luke Bos. Thijs Kroontje had two assists, while Gavin VanLoo, Grant Adams, Keenan Deming, Yun and Ahlers each also tallied an assist.
Lynden 4, Bellingham 1
The balanced attack of the Lions proved to be too much as Lynden got a goal and an assist from Hale Van Dyk. Markus Koenen, Nate Castellon and Malachi Koenen each scored, and other assists came from Eddie Briseno, Luke VanBerkum and Santi Reyes. The lone Bayhawk goal was scored by Oliver Ochs.
Squalicum 9, Anacortes 1
The Storm continued to rip through the Northwest Conference, this time with another blowout win at home. Mac Bushman and Crew Johnson each scored a pair of goals for Squalicum who also received goals from Drew Swanson, Maddox Strickland, Nico Jurado-Reyes, Levi Klassen and Cole Oswalt.
Ferndale 5, Oak Harbor 2
The Golden Eagles were powered by seniors Sergio Perez-Perez who scored two goals and Evan Saxman who had a goal and an assist in the road win over the Wildcats. Greyson Beier and Andrew Savenko also scored goals, and assists came from Parker McManus and Max Savchak.
Sehome 3, Lakewood 2
A timely punch with the foot in the closing minute by Chase Harrison ultimately won the game for the Mariners on the road. The Cougars got on the board first, and it was answered minutes later by a goal from Drew Wilson and the score was tied at 1-1 at the half. Luke Yawitz scored for Sehome in the second half as well.
Blaine 0, Sedro-Woolley 0
The Borderites fought hard on the road and earned a scoreless tie with the 3A Cubs.
Mount Vernon 2, Meridian 0
The Trojans held their own at home against the powerful 3A Bulldogs, but just weren’t able to come away with the victory.
