The Golden Eagles snagged their second shutout win a row, this time behind the arm of senior pitcher Nolan Boleak who struck out nine batters and allowed just four hits to go to 2-0 on the season. He also helped his own cause with a pair of hits. Senior leadoff hitter Braylon O’Breen crushed a 2-2 pitch over the right field fence which capped off a 4-run top of the fourth inning. He drove in three on the dinger, and also stole three bases as he was celebrating his birthday. The Trojans were led offensively and defensively by freshman Lincoln Brzozowski who had a pair of hits, and he also made an amazing diving catch near the centerfield wall.

The Lyncs remained undefeated by reaching base 33 times and scoring multiple runs in every inning. Senior shortstop Sam Kok went 4-for-4 with four runs batted in and three runs scored, and senior Trey Johnson reached base five times, and scored all five times. Lynden Christian also got three runs batted in from Logan Davis, Blayden VanderMeulen and Kellen Blankers. Sophomore pitcher Tanner Blair remained unbeaten in his varsity career as he struck out five and allowed just four hits in the five-inning contest.
