Bellingham 3, Lynden 1

The Lions grabbed a 1-0 lead early on, but the Bayhawks scored three in the bottom of the fifth inning when sophomore catcher Joe Harward walked with the bases loaded, and that was followed up with a single to right field by senior Joe Toof and a Jake Troost ground out which scored the third run. Sophomore pitcher Kai Nelson twirled a gem as he allowed just one hit, and was one out away from pitching a complete game when he hit the pitch limit. Senior Owen Rasmussen got the final out.

Sehome 14, Lakewood 8

The Cougars led 5-4 after three innings, but the Mariners exploded for 10 runs in the top of the fourth inning to break the game wide open. Sophomore Hudson Neff went 3-for-4 with a double and three runs scored to lead the charge offensively. Sehome also got a pair of runs batted in from Ryder McGrath, Grady Bernhard, Gunnar Anderson, Jackson Evans and Michael Ilyin. McGrath also struck out eight batters on the way to picking up his third win of the season.

Lynden Christian 8, Nooksack Valley 5

The Pioneers scored in three of the first four innings, and held a 5-2 lead going into the fifth inning, but the Lyncs rallied for six runs in the bottom of the sixth to take the lead and they would relinquish it for the rest of the game. Juniors Austin Engels and Jayden Huleatt each knocked in a pair of runs, while sophomore Jaxon Huleatt pitched three scoreless innings in relief to pick up his first varsity victory. Nooksack Valley got a pair of hits from seniors Eddy Cerda and Daemion Perez, as well as junior Colby Martin.

The Bulldogs scored four runs in the top of the seventh inning to capture the comeback win in the high scoring affair. Junior Jonah Aase led the hit parade for the Trojans by going 3-for-5 with a double and a triple. Senior Silas Berschauer hit a homerun and senior Ian Forbes knocked in three runs for Meridian.

Mason Akre collected two base hits and Deon Bowman walked three times, but the Borderites were unable to overcome the powerful offense of the Cubs on the road. Blaine also got hits from Aaron Garza, Joshua Cochran and Kieran Markusen.

Oak Harbor 6, Ferndale 0

Senior first baseman Camden Raymond had two singles and a walk, but the Golden Eagles were unable to get on the scoreboard. Sophomore catcher Braylon O’Breen hit a double, and sophomore Carson Brown added a single. Fellow sophomore Nolan Boleak pitched the complete game for Ferndale.

Anacortes 17, Squalicum 4

The Seahawks scored in every inning, and did most of it by taking 14 walks, as the Storm failed to pick up their first victory of the season. Senior infielder Dylan Johnson went 2-for-2 with a double, an RBI, a run scored and a walk to lead the Squalicum offense. He also pitched an inning in relief and recorded a strikeout.

Burlington-Edison 18, Mount Baker 2

The Mountaineers committed seven errors and gave up 13 hits as the Tigers came to town and put on a show. Magnus Melland and Gavin Sternhagen each got a hit and scored a run for Mount Baker, and the Mountaineers also got hits from Braven Nason, Kamden Moa and Caden Mosher.
