Oak Harbor 16, Ferndale 5

The Wildcats scored multiple runs in nearly every inning to pick up the road win. Golden Eagle junior shortstop Talan Bungard drove in four of his team’s five runs. The first two came on a homerun that was sent over the left field fence, and the next two came on a double that he hit in the following inning. Junior left fielder Rand Dobbins had a single, two walks, a stolen base and he scored two runs.

Granite Falls 12, Mount Baker 2

The Tigers held a slight 1-0 lead going into the bottom of the fifth inning, but they erupted for 11 runs over the next two innings. Mountaineer junior Caden Mosher drove in two runs in the top of the sixth for his team’s only runs. Mount Baker also got hits from senior Tyson Rightmire and sophomore Gavin Sternhagen.
