E. Claeys

MERIDIAN 3, OAK HARBOR 0

The Trojans stayed hot, this time defeating the Wildcats, 25-14, 25-21 and 25-18. Sophomore Emry Claeys hit an incredible .733 with 12 kills, and Finnley Claeys had eight kills, three aces and eight digs. Junior libero Avery Neal dug 12 out, and senior middle Skyleigh James added four kills and a block. Malaysia Smith, who last week was named the 1A girls WIAA Player of the Week, had 26 assists, three kills and an ace.

Hayes

FERNDALE 3, ANACORTES 0

The Golden Eagles fought off a tough performance by the Seahawks, and beat Anacortes 25-23, 25-14 and 25-19. Senior Kaelee Bungard had a powerful game with 13 kills and eight digs, and Morgan Hayes added eight kills, seven digs and three aces. Avery Schneider was a force in the middle, contributing seven kills and four blocks.

Ellis

SQUALICUM 3, BELLINGHAM 0

The Storm won in convincing fashion over their crosstown rivals, 25-14, 25-13 and 25-11. Sage King and Tai Toctocan had strong games at the net as King totaled 14 kills and Toctocan added 12 of her own. Chloe Ellis ran the offense efficiently and had 30 assists to go along with three aces, and Taylor Green led the back row by passing 2.17 in serve receive.

LAKEWOOD 3, BLAINE 2
