4 carries – 23 yards

40 solo tackles – 44 assisted tackles – 4 tackles for loss – 2 pass deflections – 1 sack – 1 interception – 1 forced fumble

Perhaps the most valuable player for any defensive unit in Whatcom County. Not only is he an unbelievable player, he’s putting his teammates in the right spots pre-snap based on the game plan that was put in during the week. Loves facing running teams, and is in the middle of virtually every play while on defense. Led his team in tackles for the second consecutive season. Got a little bit of run at running back during the final game of the regular season, and became a vicious impact blocker to nobody’s surprise. Was named All-Conference 1st Team at linebacker, and was also named All-State 1st Team at linebacker. Became just the third player in Whatcom County history to be named All-State 1st Team at linebacker as a junior and a senior. The other two were Nooksack Valley’s Dave Longoria (who went on to play at Idaho) and Meridian’s Brady Emmons (who went on to play at Washington State).
