The Bulldogs were tough at home, especially in the first set, with multiple blocks up front, but the Golden Eagles rallied to a 25-19 win before taking the next two sets 25-17 for their six straight win.
Senior Brooklyn Larrabee had a wonderful time setting up her hitters to the tune of 35 assists, and fellow seniors Svetlana Baydak and Teia Dube took full advantage.
Baydak’s power and downward trajectory of her attacks allowed her to total 16 kills on the night, while Dube floated through the air, and pinpointed her attacks throughout the court, and she finished with 11 kills. The two standout hitters also combined for five aces.
Baydak also had a team-high 13 digs, while senior libero Ashley Pietig finished with 12 digs.
