The Lyncs were dominant in their home win against the youthful Trojans, as Roxanne Lenning blasted her fifth homerun of the season, and she also struck out seven batters over three innings to pick up her ninth win of the season. Lenning also drove in three runs, as did Hannah Terpstra and Taylor Craig, while leadoff hitter Kortnee Tolsma touched home plate four times. Meridian got hits from Tavia Alexander, Layla Curtright, Chloe Heinrich and Maddie Krumdiack.

Lion junior Callie Ramerman did it in the box with three runs driven in, and she also did it in the circle as she struck out 18 batters in the complete-game win. She also became the first pitcher in Whatcom County this season to reach 10 wins on the season. Lydia Somma and Campbell DeJong had three hits each for Lynden to help boost the offense. The Borderites got hits from Courtney Roff, Mesa Puls and Aaliyah Broyan.

The Golden Eagles were able to score five runs before the Pioneers could grab a bat, and they proceeded to score in every inning after that as they defeated Nooksack Valley on the road. Ferndale catcher Hadley Pike doubled, and hit two singles, to lead her team offensively, while Nyla Kanda scored three runs. The Pioneers were led offensively by Kestyn Wagter, Natalie VanLiew and Karson Olney who each recorded a pair of hits.

After being down 7-0 after two innings, the Mountaineers came back to score nine runs to take the lead, but the Falcons added on six more by the end of the fifth inning to take a four run lead. In the final inning, Mount Baker was able to push across two more runs, but was unable to complete the comeback. Milo LoPresti led the Mounties with two hits and two runs batted in. She also scored twice, along with Maddi Lewis and Laila Porter. Candence Cloninger struck out 10 batters in her complete game effort.

The Bayhawks fell on the road to the Seahawks, and were unable to record a hit during the game. Emma Johnson and Olivia Favor both reached base with a walk, and Carmen Rodriguez reached on a catcher’s interference and stole second base.

The mighty Cubs blanked the Mariners at Sehome High School. No other details about the game have been reported.
