The Mariners struck early Hudson Neff came home on a wild pitch. Gunnar Anderson then knocked in Jad Geiger to finish off the first inning. An RBI double of the bat of Riley Carlson in the second inning drove in Sehome’s third run. From there, freshman pitcher Garrett Gibbons held the Pioneers in check until the sixth inning when Tyler Martin stole home. Gibbons struck out six batters and picked up his fourth win of the season, and Neff grabbed the save. Nooksack Valley freshman Lucas Woodrich had two hits.

An error in the field allowed the Bayhawks to score the game-winning run with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning as the Lyncs fell for the third time this week. Kai Nelson, who scored the game-winning run, had two hits, and Eric Helfield led Bellingham with three hits. The Bayhawks also had runs driven in by Tobias Lamb, Ben Leonard and Beckett Fisher. Trey Johnson led the Lynden Christian offense with a pair of hits, while Levi Lagreid tripled and Sam Kok doubled.

The Lions scored in each of the first five innings before taking the road win against the Golden Eagles. Junior leadoff hitter Gordy Bedlington lived on the base paths as he had two hits, two walks, four stolen bases and four runs scored. Lynden also received a pair of hits from Dawson VanDalen and Conner LeBel. Starting pitcher Gavin Guttormson struck out nine batters on his way to his fourth win of the season. Ferndale got two hits from sluggers Fenton Vasak, Chance Hatchett and Carson Brown.

The Borderites weren’t able to complete a seventh-inning comeback as they fell on the road against the Wildcats. Junior Josh Cochran tripled and struck out 11 batters in his complete-game performance. Blaine also got a pair of hits from Aaron Garza.

The Seahawks pitched their way to another dominating home win, as the Storm weren’t able to get any offense going. Squalicum gathered hits from Cameron Schmitt, Henry Ingersoll and Prabhnoor Sandhu, but were unable to push across any runs. Hudson Johnson pitched the complete game and allowed six hits and struck out three.

Burlington-Edison 8, Meridian 0
The Tigers scored in bunches as they rounded the bases three times in the top of the third and added five more runs in the top of the fifth. The Trojans managed just five hits, and Pierce Brzozowski reached base twice with a single and a walk. He also pitched two scoreless innings in relief.

Sedro-Woolley 14, Mount Baker 1
The Cubs led just 4-1 after four innings, but the hit parade started after that as they added 10 more runs over the next two innings. Toga Tigilau, Carson Lorimer and Sawyer McLemore all reached multiple times for the Mountaineers.
