Bellingham 20, Squalicum 19

The Bayhawks held a 10-2 lead halfway through the third inning, but the Storm came on late and went on to score multiple runs in each inning from there on out to help close the gap. Squalicum led 15-14 going into the final inning, and Bellingham pushed across six runs in the top of the seventh, with three of them coming when Sammy Stormo ripped a bases loaded double that cleared the bases. Needing five runs in the bottom of the seventh to stay in the game, the Storm got a huge boost when Addison Hauber drove a triple to the fence that scored three runs, but a base running error later in the inning ended the game for Squalicum.

Mount Baker 15, Sehome 0

The Mountaineers allowed just three Mariner base runners as pitching and defense ruled the day in Deming. The offense wasn’t too shabby either as Mount Baker put up all 15 of its runs over the first three innings. Junior catcher Gracie Zender hit a 3-run homerun in the second inning, and she was aided offensively by senior Ava Jeretzky, and juniors Annalee Cohn and Kennedy Rathjen, who each had two hits. Jeretzky also knocked in a team-high four runs and picked up her 14th win of the season. Sehome got hits from junior Rebekah Peterson and sophomore J.J. Lewis.

The Lions got ahead early when sophomore Cambell DeJong led off the game with a homerun, and senior Childrey DeJong doubled home senior Kasi Thomas later in the inning, but the Tigers scored four runs in the top of the second inning, and quieted the Lynden bats for the remainder of the game. Coupeville 11, Nooksack Valley 2

The Pioneers found themselves in a 6-0 hole after two innings, and it proved to be too hard to climb out of. A third inning double by Kestyn Wagter drove home Payton Bartl and Lainey Kimball, but those would be the only Nooksack Valley runs of the game. Wagter also struck out five batters in her complete game effort. Bartl and Kimball each had two hits for the Pioneers.
