Whatcom Preps Analysis:
Probably the most underrated player in Whatcom County. When he’s at the plate, the ball will most likely be put into play. Rarely walks, or strikes out, and he makes good things happen. He had the highest batting average on his team, and the second highest in the entire county. He also pitched the most innings in Whatcom County without suffering a loss all season.
Coach’s Comment:
“Coston would be an everyday starter on any other program in our conference. He unfortunately was playing behind two senior baseball players that had outstanding seasons both offensively and defensively. He did make the most of his opportunities and was our starting DH, and was our number two or three pitcher all season. He is a very diligent hitter and works on all aspects of his offensive game. He is also a very cerebral pitcher and really studies the hitters and goes after their weaknesses. Coston was voted second team all northwest conference.”
