There might not have been a player that had more value worth to his team than Webster. A top of the line tight end and linebacker the year before, was then asked to move to quarterback and strong safety. He then shined at both spots. A true warrior on the football field that rarely ever left the field. He accounted for 485 yards of total offense and six touchdowns in a must-win game against King’s late in the season. Oh, and he also intercepted two passes in that game… three if you add his interception on a two-point conversion. He led his team in tackles, and also returned kickoffs and did the punting. There wasn’t a player in Whatcom County that was asked to do more than him. He was named the Co-Most Valuable Player of the 1A Northwest Conference.
