He broke school records for yards rushing and rushing touchdowns for a quarterback in a season. Arguably the best player offensively and defensively in the 1A ranks in Whatcom County. His 185 yards rushing versus Elma broke the school record for rushing yards in a state playoff game. Also a special weapon as a kick returner. An amazing free safety that reads plays quickly, and then destroys them. A great finisher when tackling, and terrific instincts that allowed him to break up 13 passes during the season. Was named All-Conference 1st Team at both quarterback and defensive back, and was also chosen as the NWC 1A Most Valuable Player.
