The Lyncs closed their week on a good note, after losing three straight, they were able to squeak out the non-conference win on the road. A single in the first inning off the bat of Eli Stamps scored Eli Maberry and Trey Johnson as Lynden Christian picked up the early lead. The Mariners cut the lead to one run when Riley Carlson scored on a wild pitch in the bottom of the fourth inning. In the following inning it was Johnson that stung a ball down the right field line, which scored Brayden Engels who had singled earlier in the inning. Johnson also went six innings on the mound and struck out five to pick up the win. Sam Kok got the save while striking out two in the final inning.

The Borderites scored all three of their runs in the top of the third when Aaron Garza smacked a two-out bases-loaded double to left field which cleared the bases. The Golden Eagles eventually tied it back up in the bottom of the fourth inning, and then took the lead when Braylon O’Breen doubled home Kayden McGary and Axel Erickson. Ferndale never looked back after that as seven more runs came across in the bottom of the fifth in the non-conference battle. O’Breen finished with three runs batted in, while McGary and Carson Brown each scored three runs. Fredy Caetano pitched three scoreless innings in relief to pick up the win. Sophomore George Streeter had two hits for Blaine.
