After the Trojans won the first two sets, 25-16 each, the Borderites stormed back and won the next two, 25-22 and 25-23, but the magic ran out for the home team as Meridian won the final set 15-8 to take home the victory. The Trojans were led by senior Avery Neal and junior Emry Claeys, who both had double-doubles. Neal finished with 15 digs, 10 kills and two aces, while Claeys had 20 kills, 10 digs, eight aces and two blocks. Senior Jessica Pounder had six kills, two aces and a block, and senior Rainn Hull added four kills, seven digs and a block. Senior setter Hayden Claeys gave out 36 assists to go along with her seven kills, six digs and one block. Defensively, sophomore Rylan Bernardy had 12 digs and sophomore Maren Wefer served up four aces.
