Whatcom Preps Analysis:
I understand that his batting average wasn’t ideal. I really don’t care, especially when his on-base percentage was as high as it was. I’m not sure if I’ve seen a better leader in high school athletics. Rarely strikes out, and got on base 43 times without making contact with the ball. All phases of the game, he’s one of the best. Can really pick it at short, and is an amazing competitor on the mound. He’s the kind of kid that you just know that he’ll do amazing things with his life.
