Whatcom Preps Analysis:

I loved his improvement over the years, and this happens a lot with catchers, but it happened in a big way with Baar. His ability to square up the baseball on a consistent basis really stood out to me. A great gap hitter, and he used all fields. He also picked his spots, and didn’t chase bad pitches. Another tremendous overall athlete that was always a joy to watch.
