He ran the ball more times than anyone else in Whatcom County. A true workhorse. Awesome balance, speed and vision. Has all the traits of a top notch running back. His 223 carries broke a 14-year old school record for carries in a season (Bryan Beld had 215 in 2004). Amazing toughness as well. I was on the sidelines during the season finale at Meridian, and the back of one of his hands swelled up to almost twice its size. He knew his running would help shorten the game with the lead, and he continued to play. He will be a major force next year. Was named All-Conference 1st Team at running back.
