BELLINGHAM – After graduating four All-Conference players in June, this season’s Storm girls soccer team is young, but they got the best of Meridian in a 4-0 win on Monday night at Squalicum High School.

Junior Corrine Lincoln scored the first goal 22 minutes into the contest, and she was assisted by fellow junior Ashli McCudden. Sophomore Jessica McAuley scored 23 minutes later on a goal assisted by Lincoln, and junior Grace Schroder scored an unassisted goal just before the intermission.

Sophomore Paige Simons scored the lone goal of the second half to complete the scoring.

The Storm improved to 3-6-2 on the season as the Trojans fell to 2-9-2.
