LYNDEN – The Lynden Christian volleyball remained undefeated as it swept Nooksack Valley on Monday night, with a 25-17 score in each set.

Senior Liv King totaled 11 kills and 10 digs while senior Kenadi Fay added 10 kills and nine digs. Junior Rainy Kiel was very strong up front with six blocks and extremely efficient with seven kills and no errors.

Senior Paige TeVelde had a well-rounded game with 23 assists, four kills and nine digs, while senior Sami Feenstra added 13 digs.

The Lyncs (12-0) will host a strong Meridian (8-3) team on Wednesday at 7:00.


F. Claeys

Speaking of the Trojans, they swept Mount Vernon on Monday night, 25-11, 25-15 and 25-16.

Junior Finnley Claeys had a team-high 13 kills (.444 hitting percentage) to go along with her 17 digs and five aces. Junior Jolena Hoefer added 10 kills, 10 digs and an ace.

Junior Malaysia Smith had 32 assists, sophomore Avery Neal had 14 digs and a team-high six aces and freshman Emry Claeys had seven kills.
