Anacortes 14, Lynden 6 – The Lions couldn’t climb out of an early inning deficit, but still managed to battle throughout the game. The top of the lineup performed well, with Haley Saur, Megan Paoli and Alexis Fredin each collecting two hits. Kamden Crass also had a pair of hits, while Saur and Paoli each scored two runs and Fredin had two RBI’s.

 

Lynden 11, Sequim 3 – Breanna Swendt was dominant in Lynden’s second game of the day, as she allowed five hits, three runs (one earned) and striking out six while going the distance and picking up the win. The bats also came alive with Alexis Fredin knocking a home run. Blakely Doerge and Paige Devries each had a triple and Megan Paoli had a pair of doubles. Haley Saur led the Lions with three hits.

 

Lynden Christian 23, Chelan 6 – The Lyncs offense has been on a terror all season, and it didn’t stop against Chelan. Macki Vander Veen was 4-for-5 with 4 RBI’s and a double, and Brittani Hornstra was 3-for-4 with 4 RBI’s and a double. Kiya Levien crushed a home run, and Tori Bajema had a double and a triple to go along with her four RBI’s. Riley Dykstra picked up the win on the mound.

 

Lakewood 4, Ferndale 2 – The Golden Eagles lost a close game to the Cougars. No other information was available at this time.

 

Lynden Christian 6, Kittitas 5 – LC played it’s first close game of the season, and came out on top by scoring the winning runs in the bottom of the sixth inning. Anny Jansma pitched into the 6th inning and gave up just three hits. Riley Dykstra picked up the win in relief. Shannoah Whittern led the Lyncs offensively with three hits, including a triple.

 

Sehome 15, Sequim 3 – Natalie Zender drove in five runs to lead the Mariners to victory on Saturday. Tori McDowell also hit a home run, while Taryn Clark had three hits and Megan Hall collected a pair of hits. Carissa McDowell walked twice, hit a double and scored three runs while pitching the complete game and striking out six.

 

Sehome 5, Holy Names Academy 4 – With one out in the bottom of the seventh, and Tori McDowell on third base, Carissa McDowell hit a sacrifice fly to center field, scoring Tori and win the game. Savannah Smith pitched a great game and struck out nine batters. She also had two hits and two RBI’s.
