Sehome Senior is Named MVP for Second Year in a Row

The All-Northwest Conference Fastpitch teams were announced on Monday, as voted on by the NWC coaches. Sehome senior third baseman Carissa McDowell was named the Most Valuable Player for the second year in a row, and Squalicum’s Amanda Flores was named the Coach of the Year.

McDowell helped the Mariners to a 22-4 record by batting .538 (42-for-78) with 15 home runs and 58 RBI’s. She also scored 47 runs, hit nine doubles, walked 13 times while striking out just twice!
