Mountaineers Earn Shut Out Over Cougars

MARYSVILLE – Mount Baker made quick work of Lakewood, by beating the Cougars in three straight sets on Thursday night, 25-13, 25-19 and 25-15.

Senior Kenzie Ross had 10 kills and two aces, while juniors Ripley Reardon and Petra Allred each contributed with six kills of their own.

Sophomore Trinity Anderson served up five aces, while freshman Grace LaVergne set up her teammates great all night with 20 assists, and she also had a pair of aces.

The Mountaineers (2-8) will host Lynden Christian (7-3) on Tuesday.
