MARYSVILLE – Ferndale swept all three of its opponents in the district tournament, including the championship match which went 25-17, 25-12 and 25-19 over Stanwood.
Senior outside hitters Kaelee Bungard and Alyvia Semu led the attack, as Bungard had 17 kills and Semu added 14 kills. Senior middle Avery Schneider had eight kills of her own, and they were set up all match by junior Brooklyn Cagle who totaled 43 assists. Aysia Mitchell led with 11 digs.
The bracket has not been set up yet for the 3A state tournament in Yakima.
