MARYSVILLE – The Golden Eagles did it again. Make it eight consecutive trips to the state tournament, this time after defeating Snohomish in three sets, 25-20, 25-23 and 25-18 on Thursday night.

Alyvia Semu had team-highs with 12 kills and 18 digs, while Brooklyn Cagle was all over the court with 30 assists, four aces, 12 digs as well as the match-winning kill.

Avery Schneider continued her strong presence in the middle with seven kills and five blocks, and Kaelee Bungard added two aces, eight kills and three blocks.

Ferndale will play Stanwood for the district championship at Marysville-Pilchuck High School on Saturday at 1:00. The Golden Eagles have won the last three district championships.
