2026 Volleyball Roundup for Monday – October 5

The Trojans celebrate a huge point against the Lyncs.

Stacy

In a much anticipated 1A showdown the Trojans took the first two sets at home 26-24 and 25-18 before the Lyncs rallied to take the third set 25-20. Meridian put it all together in the fourth set and walked away with a 25-19 win.

Junior setter Kendall Stacy was on point all night as she put up 44 assists, much to the delight of her All-Conference outside hitters, Melanie Short and Eden Bernardy.

Short finished with 28 kills, and Bernardy notched 20 kills. Short also led the team wit6 16 digs and five aces, while Bernardy finished with 11 digs and four aces.

Parriera

The Trojans also received a defensive boost from freshman Presley Culp who added 12 digs, as well as a pair of aces.

Lynden Christian senior Lyla Parriera found herself all over the back court as she laid out for 16 digs, while seniors Charlotte Miller and Ellie Pierce each totaled 11 digs.

Senior Jocelyn Eshuis had a team-high 14 kills, as well as four blocks, and sophomore Emeri Fritts added 14 assists, five kills, four digs and 2.5 blocks.

 

NOOKSACK VALLEY 3, MOUNT BAKER 1

DeLange

The Pioneers won the first two sets at home before the Mountaineers took set number three, but Nooksack Valley proved to be too much and won the fourth set to close the night.

Nooksack Valley served up 21 aces, and that coupled with 24 kills from standout senior Elizabeth DeLange, and it was a recipe for success.

DeLange also totaled five blocks at the net, while sophomore Kendall Juergens led the service attack with seven aces.

Huntley

Finley Mitchell added 30 assists, five aces, eight digs and five kills, and senior Karson Olney had a team-high 17 digs. Junior Natileah Harmon was close behind with 15 digs.

Mount Baker was led by junior setter Laila Porter who finished with 23 assists, six digs and a team-high five aces.

Seniors Violet Fox and Rebeca Soares each had 13 kills, while juniors Teagan Huntley and Payton Zender each had 10 digs.

Soares also finished with a pair of blocks at the net.
