Kittitas 9, Nooksack Valley 7

The Pioneers scored five runs in the final two innings but the comeback feel short as the Coyotes held on for the narrow win. Alayna Dykstra homered, Lainey Kimball was a homerun away from hitting for the cycle and Shelby Mason had two singles and a walk as they led the Nooksack Valley offense. Payton Bartl struck six batters out in her three-plus innings of work.

Nooksack Valley 13, Wahluke 10

An eight-run fifth inning aided the Pioneers to victory over the Warriors in their second game of the day. Shortstop Shelby Mason went 4-for-4 with a triple and two doubles, while adding four runs batted in to help power the offense. Center fielder Lainey Kimball added another single, double and triple (much like she did in the previous game) and catcher Alayna Dykstra scored four runs. Nooksack Valley also got two runs batted in from Kestin Wagter. Pitcher Payton Bartl struck out a season-high 12 batters while walking just two.

Elma 9, Lynden Christian 2

The Lyncs scored a pair of runs in the first inning, but the Eagles scored at least one run in all seven innings to pick up the non-conference win. Freshman shortstop Alivia Brink had two hits to lead Lynden Christian, while freshman Taya Vander Kooi and junior Kassidy VanSoest each scored a run. Freshman pitcher Roxanne Lenning took the loss but did strike out seven batters over four innings.
