Senior Johann Veltkamp recorded four saves in goal to preserve the shut out, and senior Jude Decker scored the lone goal on a free kick as the Lyncs grabbed the home victory over the Borderites.
Ferndale 4, Nooksack Valley 0
The Golden Eagles’ first goal came off of a corner kick that the Pioneer keeper punched out, which Ferndale junior Bryce McManus was able to put in. Senior Katahdin Fasani scored the second goal of the game, and was assisted by junior Ryder McClellan. The third goal came off a corner kick from freshman Ahanu Fasani which deflected off a Nooksack Valley player and into its own goal. Katahdin Fasani then scored his second goal of the game on a strong left-footed shot which was assisted by sophomore Kaveer Dhillon.
Meridian 5, Mount Baker 1
The Trojans got a pair of goals from sophomore Skyler Rowe as Meridian kept its offensive firepower going from last week. The Trojans also got goals from juniors Roy Marquez and Landen Downey, as well as sophomore Damion Hayes. The Mountaineers got a score in the second half from Payton Zamzow.
Sehome 2, Squalicum 1
The Mariners still remained unbeaten as senior Reiley Bury-Brown scored a goal in the closing seconds to secure the victory on the road. Sehome senior Sam Bell scored earlier in the game, and the Storm’s goal came from junior Sebastian Cruz-Gonzalez.
