A second-inning single by junior first baseman Grady Bernhard knocked in freshman Gunnar Anderson, but that would be the lone run by the Mariners in the home loss. Bernhard led with two hits, while Ryder McGrath and Jackson Evans each picked up a hit. Sophomore Hudson Neff picked up the loss despite striking out six batters in four innings.
