THURSDAY – 12/28

  • Blaine 51, Mount Vernon Christian 47

The Borderites got off to a hot start by defeating the host Hurricanes.

It was relatively close throughout the game, and Blaine was led by senior forward Conner Dalry who scored a season-high 21 points.

Senior guard Justin Minjarez finished with 11 points, while junior wing Josiah Weeda fought for eight points and senior forward Noah Tavis contributed with six points.

 

FRIDAY – 12/29

  • Wahkiakum 65, Blaine 55

The Borderites held a 21-14 advantage after the first quarter, but the hot-shooting Mules connected on 15 three-pointers throughout the contest to propel them past Blanie.

Tavis led the Borderites with 16 points, while Weeda and Minjarez added 14 points each.

Dalry finished with eight points and seven boards, and Tavis added eight rebounds, seven assists and three steals to put forth a tremendous all-around effort.

 

SATURDAY – 12/30

  • Adna 58, Blaine 42

It was a rough start for the Borderites who lost senior guard Jesse Deming just 90 seconds into the game to an injury. The Pirates took advantage by jumping out to a 12-4 lead after the first quarter.

Blaine was able to tie it up at 21-21 at the half, but Adna was able to rip off 22 points in the third quarter before walking away with the day-three victory.

Weeda put forth his best scoring game of the tournament with 22 points on 7-of-16 shooting. He also made four of his five foul shots attempts.

Dalry finished with eight points, seven rebounds and three assists, and Tavis yanked down 15 rebounds and handed out eight assists, both team-highs.
