MOUNT BAKER 3, MOUNT VERNON 0

The Mountaineers picked up their first conference victory of the season, and second overall, when they swept the Bulldogs on the road 25-15, 25-13 and 25-19. Grace Lavergne led the offensive attack with 12 kills and 16 assists, to go along with her five aces. Rylee Ross had 16 digs, eight kills and a pair of aces. Hayley Jimmie was all over the court with 11 digs, seven kills, three blocks and a two aces, while Annalee Cohn added 12 assists, eight kills and a pair of blocks.

SQUALICUM 3, SEHOME 1

The Storm upped their record to 5-3 on the season by defeating the cross-town Mariners 25-16 and 25-18 in the first two sets. Sehome won the third set 25-18, but Squalicum came back to win the fourth 25-22. Sage King racked up 20 kills for the Storm, while Samantha Coon led the offense with 36 assists, and Olivia Swayne locked down the defense with five blocks. The Mariners record dropped to 2-5 on the season.

MERIDIAN 3, ANACORTES 0

The Trojans went south on the road, and came back with their seventh win of the season, sweeping the Seahawks 25-18, 25-19 and 26-24. Emry Claeys had a team-high 21 kills to go along with her 12 digs and four aces. Avery Neal dug out 14 while also adding 10 kills. She was aided in the back court by Rylan Bernardy who had 12 digs and three aces, and Hayden Claeys dished out 30 assists and had a pair of aces.
