The Trojans won big again to stay undefeated on the season, this time against the Borderites, 25-13, 25-5 and 25-14. It was a well-rounded effort with Emry Claeys and Jessica Pounder each registering nine kills, and Finnley Claeyes and Jolena Hoefer each totaling six kills. Junior libero Avery Neal added 13 digs and senior setter Malaysia Smith dished out 30 assists and served up five aces. With Ferndale’s loss to Burlington-Edison on Tuesday night, Meridian now stands alone as the only undefeated team in the Northwest Conference.

MOUNT BAKER 3, BELLINGHAM 0

The Mountaineers topped the Bayhawks in three straight sets, 25-14, 25-19 and 25-17 to get their fifth win of the season. Senior Trinity Anderson led the way with a double-double, 10 kills and 11 digs, while Grave LaVergne filled up the stat sheet with seven aces, six kills, 17 assists and 18 digs. Rylee Ross also contributed with seven kills and 10 digs while Taite Reardon and Kaitlyn Rosenburg added three kills and four kills, respectively. Ashlynn Cloninger recorded nine digs to go along with her two aces.
