The Lyncs went on a 37-3 run to start the game, and were able to give all their players ample minutes in the home win against the inexperienced Borderites.

Lynden Christian also splashed home 16 three-pointers to establish a new school record for a single game, and it happened in just 22 attempts.

Senior guard Estela Hernandez connected on all five of her shots from downtown, and she finished with a game-high 21 points.

Bring

Senior guard Ella Fritts added 14 points and four assists, and sophomore guard Tyra Dykstra added 11 points. Senior forward Sara VanLoo dished out a team-high six assists, and junior guard Ellie Pierce was close behind with five assists.

Blaine junior guard Marcella Bring scored her team’s first six points of the game, and ended with six points to lead her team on just two shot attempts.

Senior forward Aaliyah Bowman added five points, and junior forward Kate Koreski had four rebounds and three steals.

The Mariners turned 18 steals and 12 offensive rebounds into extra possessions as they quickly dispatched the Wildcats on the road.

Sophomore guard Taylor Turell hit 5-of-10 shots for 13 points to lead Sehome, and junior forward Kate Schroeder finished with 11 points, five rebounds and five steals.

Junior forward Elyse Panagos also registered five steals to go with her six points, five rebounds and two blocked shots, while senior center Aspen Barge had eight points, and senior forward Lily Jude grabbed a team-high seven rebounds.

The Pioneers did all that they could on the road, but the mighty Knights (who led 17-10 going into the second quarter) went on a 17-5 run to end the first half on their way to the victory.

Senior guard Natalie VanLiew led Nooksack Valley with 16 points, while making 6-of-13 from the field, which included 3-of-7 from beyond the arc.

Senior center Grace DeHoog added eight points, and she also pulled down 15 rebounds.
