Nooksack Valley 51, Burlington-Edison 45

A strong third quarter by the Tigers enabled them to grab a hold of the lead, but the Pioneers whipped up some of that home cooking, and they were able to hit shots down the stretch when it mattered most as they picked up the win.
Senior guard Payton Bartl led Nooksack Valley with 20 points, which included an incredible 11-of-12 from the foul line.
Senior center Grace DeHoog was strong in the middle once again as she ended her night with 15 points, 16 rebounds and three blocked shots, and junior forward Raegan Burke added eight points and six rebounds, which included a 10-foot baseline jumper in the final minutes of the game to help secure the win.

Mount Vernon 41, Ferndale 33

After a slow start, the Golden Eagles went on a shooting spree in the second quarter, and they went into the half with a 22-19 lead over the Bulldogs.
However, Mount Vernon was able to come back in the second half as the outside shots weren’t falling as often for Ferndale, and the Bulldogs were able to escape with the victory.
Senior guard Kayla Washington was 7-of-15 from the field, including 4-of-7 from beyond the arc, as she led her team with 20 points.
Junior forward Kayla Lee added five points and five rebounds, and junior guard Brooklyn Larrabee registered six rebounds and six assists. Sophomore forward Ari Gilday was incredible in the paint as she pulled down a career-high 19 rebounds.

Anacortes 49, Meridian 33

The Trojans were up 7-3 early on in the first quarter, but the Seahawks went on a 14-0 run to finish the opening period, and then continued to hit open shots and use pressure defense to secure the win at home.
Junior forward Eden Bernardy led Meridian with 11 points, six rebounds and five steals, and junior guard Amelia Koning added five points.
Senior guard Kinsley Neal also scored five points, to go along with her three assists and three steals.
