Bartl

The Bayhawks may have played their best game of the season, and hung with the favored Pioneers on the road for three quarters, but Nooksack Valley finished strong to pull out the win.

Jensen

The expected inside/outside game of seniors Grace DeHoog and Payton Bartl was there, as DeHoog finished with 24 points and 15 rebounds and Bartl knocked down a trio of three-pointers and finished with 16 points, but it was more than just that. DeHoog also ripped off five steals, and hit a pair of deep shots, and Bartl dished out three assists and connected on 7-of-8 from the foul line.

Bellingham junior Merritt Jensen led her team with 12 points, and sophomore guard Elise Holland pulled down a team-high 13 rebounds.

Sophomore guard Lucy Holland scored nine points, and senior center Mary Lockhart added seven points.

Soares

The Mountaineers scored in double-digits in each quarter as they methodically defeated the Trojans on the road.

Junior center Rebeca Soares enjoyed another big game, this time with 21 points, 12 rebounds, five blocks, four steals and three assists. She was also 9-of-10 from the foul line.

Bernardy

Sophomore guard Kalyn Abitia had nine points, five rebounds and knocked down a trio of three-pointers, and junior guard Violet Fox swiped seven steals to go with her eight points and five boards.

Meridian was led by junior forward Eden Bernardy who finished with 14 points, five rebounds, four assists and four steals.

Senior guard Kinsley Neal added 10 points, which included three deep balls, and junior forward Maddy Swanson added five points and four steals.

Hermanutz

After one quarter of play, the Lions were in unfamiliar territory as the score was tied at 11-11. Lynden quickly changed its tone, and proceeded to go on a 48-4 run over the next two quarters before grabbing the victory, its 57th straight.

Junior guard Lexi Hermanutz scored 17 points on just seven shot attempts. Six of them splashed home, including four from deep, and she also led her team with four assists.

Junior guard Finley Parcher also scored 17 points to go along with nine rebounds and a perfect 5-of-5 from the foul line.

Senior forward Payton Mills added 11 points and seven boards as 10 players got into the scoring column for the top-ranked Lions.

The Eagles flew out to a 20-3 lead after one quarter, and the Borderites struggled all game to get their offense going.

Senior forward Aaliyah Bowman led her team with eight points and eight rebounds, and she also made 4-of-6 from the foul line.

Senior forward Mesa Puls added four points and eight rebounds, and freshman forward Hailey Kruse continued her strong development as she finished with four points, seven rebounds and two blocked shots.
