Squalicum 54, Nooksack Valley 33

After a tightly played first quarter, the rest of the game was a tale of momentum swings.
The Pioneers held the Storm without a field goal in the entire second quarter, and they found themselves up 24-17 at the break against one of the top 2A teams in the conference.
The script was then flipped after halftime, and Squalicum splashed home five 3-pointers in the third quarter, while outscoring Nooksack Valley 23-4 to take a commanding lead. The Storm then finished the job in the fourth quarter by holding the Pioneers to five points while scoring 11.

Junior forward Tiana Thompson was on target the entire game as she connected on 6-of-7 from the field for 15 points, and junior guard Colee Harper scored a game-high 16 points for Squalicum.
Junior guard Lexi Robbins had nine points and nine assists, and her backup, Peyton Horst, knocked down her two 3-point attempts for six points.
Nooksack Valley, who was still without two of its key players, was led by senior Grace DeHoog who scored 14 points.
Sophomore guard Natileah Harmon pulled down seven rebounds, along with DeHoog, and she also scored five points.

The Lady Blackhawks remained on top of the Northwest 1B League after taking the road win.
Junior guard Jemma James took the scoring honors with 22 points, and senior forward Ailina Rabang dropped a trio of three-pointers and scored 17 points.
Eighth grade guard Jordan Reeder shook off an injury from last week to score 16 points, and junior center Celestine James scored nine points in the paint.

The Bulldogs took a nine-point lead after one quarter, and the Trojans played them straight up the rest of the way, but weren’t able to break through as they fell on the road.
Senior center Taya Benson led Meridian with 10 points down low, with eight of them being scored in the first half.
Junior guard Eden Bernardy knifed her way through the defense, and was sent to the foul line multiple times where she hit 6-of-8 and finished with eight points.
Sophomore forward Madyn Cline-Malarz added five points for the Trojans.
