Fritts

The Pioneers held their own in the first quarter, and led by two points going into the second, but the Lyncs went on a 21-4 run in the final six minutes of the first half and never let go of their double-digit lead after that.

The run was boosted by the mid-range game of senior guard Ella Fritts, and the long distance shooting of sophomore guard Tyra Dykstra.

VanLiew

Dykstra led LC with 15 points and five steals, and Fritts finished with 14 points, 11 rebounds and five assists.

Junior center Jocelyn Eshuis added eight points on 4-of-7 shooting.

Nooksack Valley was led by senior guard Natalie VanLiew who scored 14 points.

Senior guard Payton Bartl added eight points, and hit 2-of-3 from downtown, and senior center Grace DeHoog finished with five points and a team-high nine rebounds.

Robbins

The Storm used a huge second quarter, which was capitalized by a buzzer-beating three-point shot at the top of the key by junior guard Colee Harper.

After a close first quarter, the Storm led 32-15 at the half.

The Seahawks were able to score 18 in the third quarter, but it wouldn’t be enough as Squalicum closed out the win at home.

Junior guard Lexi Robbins was on point from deep as she buried seven of her eight 3-point attempts, and she finished with a game-high 25 points, four rebounds and three assists.

Junior forward Tiana Thompson added 10 points and two blocks, and Harper finished with eight points and three assists. Junior forward Addison Kettman led the Storm with five rebounds and two steals before having to leave the game due to an injury.

Powell

The Mountaineers took care of business at home in a big way against the Wildcats, as they dominated in every facet of the game.

Speaking of dominant, junior center Rebeca Soares had another 20-20 game as she led her team with 22 points, 21 rebounds, five steals, four assists and four blocked shots.

Senior forward Reace Brown scored 10 points, and Mount Baker was also lifted by the outside shooting of senior forward Samiya Powell and sophomore guard Kalyn Abitia. Powell knocked down 2-of-3 from downtown as she finished with eight points, seven rebounds and three assists. Abitia added 10 points on 3-of-8 from beyond the arc, and she also had five boards.

Freshman guard Maci Kammenga finished with five points and she tied with a team-high five steals.
